My first experience of the Alexander Technique was somewhat “magical”. I quickly became fascinated – I wanted to understand what made it possible for my teacher’s subtle touch and sparse words to create such a light and open physical state in me. That was the spark that would eventually lead me to becoming a teacher of the Alexander Technique.
I did my CanSTAT certification training with the Toronto School of the Alexander Technique and have been in private practice since 1995.
Besides the physical well-being that this work promotes, I’m struck by it’s positive effect on developing self-awareness and presence – A tool that supports us to be our best in any given moment.
The journey continues to unfold for me, as I learn from my students and senior teachers alike. I feel privileged in sharing my skills to help others discover this gem!
